Hi Dana,
Thankyou so much for your constant enthusiasm, positivity and commitment over the past two terms. I've absolutely enjoyed the DC Sweat and DC Tone workouts, as they have been a whole body workout within the 30 minutes. I have lost inches off my waist and now have a toned bum, abs and arms! The workouts are simple and quick yet definately work, as I feel it the next day! With such a hectic lifestyle, I'm glad I've had you to push me to my limits twice a week to reach my goals.

After losing around 14kg through walking alone, I had hit a standstill. So I joined a gym and despite my efforts there, I couldn't seem to shift any weight between December 2009 and March 2010. Whilst I was happy with the fact I was maintaining exercise, I did become despondent. Then came the city DC TONE and DC SWEAT workouts and since then I have not only shed a further 5.3kg in a relatively short time, I have lost inches off my overall measurements and I can definitely see and feel that my body shape is changing for the better. I initially changed my lifestyle to avoid type 2 diabetes which is common amongst those who have hypothyroidism. However I am now in healthy zones for all my blood tests and now I am reshaping and changing my life with the coaching of Dana and her DC classes so that I can look and feel the best I can be. I met Dana only a few months ago and from our first appointment to discuss my goals Dana had a very clear understanding of what was required to ensure I succeeded and how best to keep me motivated. I felt very comfortable to trust her so I threw away those scales and followed the 11 week program. Dana tailored my exercise program around my already very busy schedule. We met once a week for an outdoor intense personal training session and kept in touch the rest of the week to track my progress. I trained on my own every other day. Toward the end of my program we added a few extra sessions in a gym to challenge me a little more. Two very important things were that I wrote in my weekly lifestyle diary every single day honestly and trained according to the exercise program.In the early stages Dana gave extra support on my ‘hungry’ days however shortly after getting into the swing of the new eating plan I rarely felt hungry. In fact I got to the point where I didn’t look at bad foods and think ‘Oh I can’t have that’. I actually started thinking ‘yuck I don’t want that’ as I knew what that piece of cake or packet of chips would do to me. There was always a lot of practical advice on what to eat/drink when going out and encouraging additional exercise to compensate. However!! This was by no means an ‘eat what I want’ ticket. Dana's encouraging support, knowledge of how our diet effects our body shape, vast experience in personal training and genuine passion for me to succeed is a credit to her and one of the main reasons I have succeeded in this phase of my fitness and well being journey. I can’t thank Dana enough for seeing me through to this extremely important goal. I will continue to train with Dana in the new year to reach my ultimate fitness level and desired body shape. I can’t wait for the next stage!! Bring it on!!

I joined Dana’s Tone and Sweat workouts . I found myself looking forward to them and enjoyed being able to walk up hills faster, stretch more, run harder and keep pace as the weeks went by. It was also great to see Dana’s friendly smiling face greeting us each morning before we worked harder than we thought possible, and at the end of each workout knowing we had managed to push ourselves, and still had a smile on our face, encouraged by her enthusiasm and “just five more…. “ It was also fun trying to complete with my new friends in the group, which was small so you got to know everyone. I especially loved the stretching afterwards and knowing I had completed another class successfully! Your classes gave me energy, enthusiasm and strength. I also loved exercising outside. Dana is an amazing body reshaping coach. She has the experience as a coach to know how to get results along with heart to understand how badly i wanted to lose those unwanted inches. I finished my 12 weeks with Dana with results. Dana made me feel so good that I took her on for another 12 weeks as my personal body reshaping coach. Her training sessions are not for the faint hearted, she will work you hard and at first until my body got use to it I could of given up, but Dana helped me through that, seeing results made me addicted to her training. I lost more inches in the next 12 weeks.
Dana would visit me 2 mornings a week for an hour each and she pushed me to get great results, she has become a good friend and I truly miss our sessions. I will get her back on a regular basis. I started seeing Dana as a personal trainer when I made the decision that I wanted
to shape up, lose fat and get fitter.
I had wanted to believe I was self motivated enough to do it myself by time showed
that I would just put everything else before my exercise goals.
I found Training with Dana very effective for many reasons. Firstly, I found that
having to pay for an appointment means that you turn up, so suddenly exercise
becomes a high priority.
Secondly, for me it was important to have a female who understood the female
anatomy and knew that I didn't want a chest like Arnold Schwarzenegger!!!
Also, Dana is there with you every step of the way motivating you, not only during
your exercise program but having accountability with her eating diary made life a lot
more simple and organized, even for someone like me who runs two businesses, I
was able to prioritize the times which was eating and what I would eat at those time.
This really set me free!
I really loved the way my body changed from week to week. It was nice to actually
like what I saw when I looked in the mirror and it was improving each time I looked. I
also felt strong and energized, which is important.
My personal belief is that Dana is not for everyone, certainly not those who want to do some casual exercise here and there. But if you want results and you are you are prepared to work hard and listen to what Dana says both during and outside of the workout times, then Dana will certainly help you achieve those goals as she did for me.
